School of Communication – Professor (Full-time)

Responsibilities

The School seeks an outstanding candidate for taking a leading and motivating role in the research activities of the School of Communication, which includes but not limit to seeking competitive / matching research grants, publication opportunities and scholarly networking.  He/She will be expected to develop and administrate undergraduate and / or postgraduate programmes and serve as research mentor for the young / junior faculties.

 

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a Doctoral Degree in a related discipline;
  • demonstrate a strong scholarly publication and competitive grant record, preferably in the field of journalism, communication, public relations, and / or other related disciplines of social sciences and business;
  • possess prolific experience in the development, leadership, and management of undergraduate and postgraduate programme;
  • have a robust academic network at international level, which is manifested in editorship in scholarly journals, chairpersonship of scholarly organisations, and / or authorship of famous academic works; and
  • show a good track record of teaching, student coaching and academic administration.
