Advancement and Alumni Affairs Office - Officer
(Ref: DO (AAAO) 2024-04-19)

Responsibilities
  • furnish donation proposals, presentations, reports and related collateral;
  • help identify donors and prospects including individuals, corporations, and/or foundations;
  • solicit donation or gifts-in-kind for fundraising events;
  • liaise with internal and external stakeholders on fundraising and alumni related affairs;
  • provide marketing and administrative support to fundraising and alumni events, activities and committees;
  • arrange and co-ordinate campus visits, receptions and ceremonies;
  • assist in the donor/alumni database management; and
  • provide administrative support to the Office.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in English / Literature / Translation / Public Relations / Communications or a related discipline;
  • have at least 3 years of post-qualification hands-on work experience, preferably in higher education sector;
  • have experience in providing content and carrying out editorial duties in English; 
  • be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing;
  • preferably have experience in database management;
  • have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • have strong analytical skill and problem-solving skills;
  • have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • have a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently with a tight deadline and under pressure and attention to detail.
