Department of Economics and Finance - Associate Professor (Full-time)

- plan, develop, coordinate and deliver specialist modules in finance area and real estate development;
- assist in programme development, management and validation; and
- engage in research, scholarly and administration activities.
- possess a doctoral degree, preferably in Finance with specialty knowledge in Real Estate Business;
- have experience in developing Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme in Real Estate Finance and business management;
- have solid teaching and research experience in related areas;
- have a successful track record of academic/professional experience in tertiary teaching (bachelor and master levels), and/or professional services;
- have relevant practical experience in the finance, real estate related industries;
- have a strong research record or potential for scholarly research and publications;
- have a high level of subject knowledge, skills and competence in the academic or professional discipline concerned; and
- have a good command of both written and spoken English.
Relevant industry experience, professional qualifications, and international exposure will definitely be an advantage. Preference will be given to the applicant who has teaching and new programme development (and research) experience in Real Estate Finance & Business Management. The appointee is expected to assume duty in August 2024. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
