Campus Development and Management Office (Building Services Unit) - Building Maintenance Officer
(Ref: BMO (CDMO)(BSU) 2024-11-08)
- develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones;
- liaise with internal and external parties to provide smooth operation from design stage to completion of works;
- assist in the collection of users’ requirements on building facilities, prepare relevant document/ drawing for requesting quotation and tender;
- co-ordinate with consultants and/or contractors on the progress update of building project(s);
- conduct periodic inspections to check if the construction consequences and/or the materials applied by the contractor(s) is/are complied with the statutory requirements, shop drawings, material submissions, specifications and quality standards; and
- handle, prepare and compile contract correspondences, minutes of meeting, comments or approval to consultant’s/ contractor’s submission and defect report.
- possess a recognised bachelor’s degree in building construction or related disciplines;
- have at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in building projects and building exterior/facade works and familiar with building regulations and statutory requirements;
- have hands-on experience in MS Office software, AutoCAD, relevant knowledge in BIM and project management software;
- have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- have strong interpersonal, planning and organisation skills; and
- be proactive, mature, independent and able to work under pressure.
