Graduate School - Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Officer
(Ref: AM/SEO (GS) 2024-11-15)

Responsibilities
  • collaborate with academic departments and other units to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase awareness and enrolment of HSUHK taught postgraduate programmes;
  • develop social media strategy and manage social media accounts and outreach efforts;
  • responsible for the overall planning, implementation and evaluation of the respective programme to provide a comprehensive student learning engagement programme and other initiatives that align with the Graduate School's commitment to interdisciplinary learning and societal impact;
  • organise and execute academic events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences and ensure smooth logistics and high-quality experiences for participants;
  • engage with industry partners, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to develop collaborative opportunities that enhance students' exposure to real-world challenges and experiential learning;
  • work with faculty members to integrate experiential learning components into the curriculum and support interdisciplinary learning initiatives across different academic disciplines; and
  • develop and maintain communication strategies to promote student engagement opportunities, raise awareness of events, and encourage active participation.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in supporting taught postgraduate programmes;
  • have proven experience in event coordination, or student engagement initiatives within an educational or related environment;
  • possess track record of showcasing leadership capabilities in guiding a small team towards successful outcomes;
  • have good marketing sense and familiar with various kinds of social media engagement and promotional strategies;
  • have exceptional interpersonal, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • dedicate to cultivating a nurturing learning atmosphere and championing experiential learning opportunities for students;
  • have good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and the ability to write compelling content that resonates with cultural nuances;
  • be proactive and able to take initiative, work independently, and thrive in fast-paced environment;
  • be resilient and able to deliver high-quality work in a tight deadline; and
  • have strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
