Multimedia Designer/ Senior Multimedia Designer (Part-time) - Graduate School / Virtual Reality Centre, Centre for Teaching and Learning

Responsibilities

The appointee will assist in conducting virtual reality metaverse development projects, developing interactive simulation content, organising teaching and research activities and supporting virtual reality training programmes.  He/she will mainly be responsible for multimedia design, 3D and motion graphics, programming development, graphical data analysis, and system simulation testing.

 

 

Applicants Should
  • a recognised associate degree or above, in multimedia design, graphic design, engineering, computer science, computing, or related disciplines;
  • at least 2 years of work experience in multimedia, programming, system development, and simulation for Research Assistant (at least 5 years for Senior Multimedia Designer);
  • a good understanding on motion graphics, metaverse, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, CAVE and 5G;
  • experience in using Maya, Unity, Solidwork, Sketchup, MiddleVR, and/or Quest 3D;
  • basic knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and Open GL;
  • a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • self-motivated attitude and good time-management skill; and
  • the ability to work under pressure, tight schedule and dynamic requirements.
