The University now invites application for the following Research Project: “A Multifaceted Analysis of Strengthening Stage-specific Support System for Youth Micro-entrepreneurship in Hong Kong”, funded by the Public Policy Research Funding Scheme of the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit, the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of Peoples’ Republic of China:

Research Assistant – Department of Social Science

Responsibilities
  • compile, review, and synthesise existing policy initiatives to support the research framework;
  • conduct both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses, utilising appropriate statistical software as necessary;
  • facilitate and coordinate engagement activities with various stakeholders, such as setting up meetings, preparing discussion guides, and documenting the outcomes of these engagements; and
  • assist in scheduling, coordinating team meetings, and tracking.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree in management, entrepreneurship, or social sciences;
  • have at least 2 years of experience in conducting content and quantitative analysis;
  • have a strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  • be passionate about conducting academic research.
