School of Communication - Professor / Associate Professor

The School of Communication is looking for an outstanding candidate to take a leading and motivating role in the research activities of the School. The incumbent is expected to seek competitive / matching research grants, publication opportunities and scholarly networking possibilities. He / She is also expected to develop and administrate undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes and to serve as a research mentor for young / junior faculty members.
- possess a doctoral degree in a related discipline;
- demonstrate a strong scholarly publication and competitive grant record, preferably in the fields of communication, convergent media, media analytics, computer graphics, platform business and / or other related fields of communication technology;
- possess extensive experience in the development, leadership, and management of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
- have a robust academic network at international level, which is manifested in editorship in scholarly journals, chairmanship in scholarly organisations, and / or authorship of famous academic works; and
- show a good track record of teaching, student coaching and academic administration.
The appointee is expected to assume duty in August 2025. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
