Student Affairs Office - Manager (Physical Education)
(Ref: M (PE) (SAO) 2025-03-21)

Responsibilities
  • oversee the planning, development, and management of sports and recreational facilities;
  • lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of physical education programmes, credit-bearing PE modules, wellness training, and related teaching materials;
  • develop policies, initiatives, and strategic plans to strengthen the role of physical education and sports in whole-person student development;
  • manage administrative matters related to student participation in the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong (USFHK) and foster collaborations with external sports organisations; and
  • represent the Student Affairs Office in supporting various university-level committees, events, and task forces.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field;
  • have at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a leadership role within an educational institution, student affairs, or sports management;
  • hold a valid first-aid certificate is preferred;
  • have experience in planning, managing, and enhancing sports facilities, programmes, and major student sports events; 
  • have proven leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills;
  • have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
  • have a strong commitment to student development and holistic well-being.
