The University now invites application for the following position to work in the Research Project “Poetic Justice and the Anglophone Novel, 1678–1928”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):

Department of English - Research Assistant
(Ref: RA (ENG–UGC/FDS14/H13/23) 2025-12-12)

Responsibilities
  • compile corpora of novels, including data capture and annotation;
  • perform data analysis; and
  • write up reports.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a master’s or doctoral degree in English-related disciplines, preferably with experience of digital humanities approaches and/or corpus-based methodologies;
  • be experienced in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis; and
  • be proficient in both spoken and written English.
