The University now invites application for the following position to work in the Research Project “Poetic Justice and the Anglophone Novel, 1678–1928”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):
Department of English - Research Assistant

- compile corpora of novels, including data capture and annotation;
- perform data analysis; and
- write up reports.
- possess a master’s or doctoral degree in English-related disciplines, preferably with experience of digital humanities approaches and/or corpus-based methodologies;
- be experienced in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis; and
- be proficient in both spoken and written English.
The appointee is expected to assume duty in January or February 2026. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
