Campus Development and Management Office - Manager (Facility Management Services)
(Ref: M (CDMO) 2026-02-27)

Responsibilities
  • responsible for leading the Facility Management Services team, providing campus facility management services including security and cleaning services, booking system, venue set up, relocation, transportation, carpark management, access control, campus mailing and printing;
  • continuously review and excel the policies and procedures for the unit to ensure continuous improvement in the governance;
  • supervise the service providers by regular site walk, discussions, meetings and underwriting of the staff members’ work done;
  • provide cost-effective recommendations, ensuring that they meet or exceed the standards set by reputable FM service providers in Hong Kong;
  • control, monitor, and supervise the KPI and SLA of all units and make sure that the parameters are monitored and pushed to excel the CDMO service delivery with a sense of ownership;
  • handle complaints, respond, and provide advice and action to mitigate the situation;
  • lead the Health & Safety aspects of the campus operation and provide leadership and training to the fellow employees and the University stakeholders;
  • prepare tenders and procurements for FM services and closely monitor outsourced services contractors’ performance and the costs;
  • conduct facility inspection for services improvement and act as facility management coordinator for campus, residential colleges and staff quarters;
  • prepare, control, and monitor budgets for facility operations;
  • liaise with other units in CDMO for alignment of facility management services to the stakeholders of the University, including redevelopment projects, landscape, building maintenance, and health and safety; and
  • perform emergency response team member duties in accordance with the CDMO roster when needed.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a bachelor's degree or above in Facilities Management, Property Management or other related disciplines;
  • be a member of recognised institute(s) in Hong Kong, including IFMA, RICS, HKIS, HKIH, CIH, etc.;
  • have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in Facilities Management with at least 8 years in a managerial or above position;
  • be a PMP (Tier 1) Licence holder and have experience in working for tertiary institutions, either as a direct employee or as a service provider, is preferred;
  • have experience in renovation works, aged building refurbishment works, space planning and layout design is preferred;
  • have strong technical skills and analytical mindset, proven management capability, a sense of driving for excellence, and skills of stakeholder management and problem-solving;
  • have knowledge of environmental provision, sustainability measures, BEAM or equivalent standard, and BIM will be an advantage; and
  • be flexible and adaptive to a fast-moving environment and prompt work delivery in response to the University’s dynamic needs and requirements.
