Executive Officer – Graduate School
(Ref: EO (GS) 2026-03-27)

Responsibilities
  • organise events, including international conferences, symposiums, and promotional talks;
  • implement postgraduate student learning enhancement and community programmes, with a special focus on signature events like Orientation Programme, Postgraduate Summer School, HIGH programme, and other community initiatives;
  • handle student inquiries and maintain active communication with postgraduate students through various communication channels;
  • develop student internship schemes to actively engage students and involve them in GS initiatives;
  • prepare promotional materials, reports, and survey results for events/activities;
  • responsible for website updates and creating content for social media channel enhancements;
  • maintain and regularly update a comprehensive database of stakeholder contact information; and
  • handle purchases, reimbursements, payments, and other financial and budgeting matters for various reporting purposes.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in tertiary education or established NGOs;
  • have a proven track record in organising community activities and liaison work with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • have hands-on experience in event management, including planning, coordination, and execution of various functions;
  • demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks;
  • exhibit a high level of computer literacy and the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools;
  • have good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • be self-initiated, well-organised and a collaborative team player;
  • be able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative; and
  • be willing and able to travel occasionally for work-related activities.

This employment is on a 12-month contract.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
