The University now invites applications for the following position:

• support and drive procurement transformation initiatives, including digitalisation, “Procure-to-Pay” system and process automation projects;
• identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, category management, and continuous process improvement initiatives;
• ensure procurement activities are conducted in a fair, transparent, and compliant manner in accordance with the University’s policies and governance requirements;
• manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, quotation exercises, contract administration, and supplier management;
• partner with internal departments to understand business needs, develop procurement strategies, and provide professional advice on procurement matters;
• prepare tender documents, evaluation reports, management papers, and procurement analysis for managerial review; and
• supervise and guide junior procurement staff, and lead cross-functional procurement projects where required.

• possess a recognised bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines;
• have at least 8 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a sizable organisation, with solid exposure to tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management;
• have supervisory or team-leading experience, or demonstrated ability to coach junior staff and lead cross-functional procurement projects;
• demonstrate a good understanding of ERP / e-procurement systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion, SAP); experience in system implementation or enhancement is an advantage;
• be highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and reporting skills;
• possess strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments independently; and
• have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
