Finance Office – Accounting Assistant
(Ref: AA (FO) 2026-06-18)
- perform daily operation of accounts payable and receivable;
- prepare accounting journals and be responsible for housekeeping of documents;
- assist in month end closing, prepare schedules and breakdowns;
- perform banking-related duties, including deposit for cash/cheque, application for telegraphic transfer, reconciling statements with bank records, sending time deposit instructions, and updating the master file, etc.;
- assist in fixed assets management and control, including but not limited to labeling and stocktaking;
- assist in year-end and statutory audits; and
- assist in maintenance and enhancement of financial accounting system.
- possess a recognised diploma or above, preferably in accounting discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
- demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
- preferably possess knowledge of Oracle Financials system;
- have good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- be mature and attentive to details, able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and tight timeline, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
Work experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
