The Centre for Humanistic Buddhism (CHB) is the first platform in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area co-built by Fo Guang Shan (Hong Kong) and HSUHK, focusing on the application of Humanistic Buddhism learning and research. The Centre is committed to promoting the "Five Harmonies" advocated by Master Hsing Yun: self-harmony, respect for others, family harmony, social harmony, and world peace.

Reporting to the Assistant Head of the Centre, this position will be responsible for the following tasks related to our Glorious Sun Group Award Scheme and other educational programmes, in collaboration with Fo Guang Shan HK:

• provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support for the Centre’s schemes and programmes, including workshops, education activities and events, community engagement programmes;
• support partnership collaboration by helping to coordinate and facilitate joint projects and shared activities between the Centre and its stakeholders, ensuring smooth day-to-day cooperation;
• assist with communications and marketing, including promotional materials and publicity-related documents, on-site support for events and activities, newsletters, activity reports, and other related documents and tasks;
• manage administration for education programmes, including programme coordination support, documentation control, and assistance with official accreditation processes (e.g., preparation of required materials, tracking of submission status, and compliance-related follow-up); and
• handle enquiries promptly and maintain effective communication with students, mentors, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring accurate information and timely responses.

• hold a recognised bachelor’s degree or above, or an associate degree/ higher diploma with 1-2 years of working experience;
• have a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable in Chinese word processing;
• be detail-oriented, responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently;
• be flexible in the working locations assigned or changed, and willing to work on weekends and evenings as requested;
• have a keen interest in Humanistic Buddhism and related activities would be an advantage.
