Student Affairs Office - Student Affairs Officer
(Ref: SAO (SAO) 2026-07-31)

Responsibilities
  • coordinate the administration of University’s student accommodations, including admissions, room allocation, and move-in and move-out arrangements;
  • provide guidance, pastoral care, and support to students on accommodation-related matters;
  • coordinate with off-campus student accommodation providers and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of accommodation-related services and support;
  • develop and disseminate accommodation-related information and resources, and organise briefings and seminars on housing and tenancy matters for students; and
  • assist in the planning, development and preparatory work for student residential projects.  

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably in social sciences, education, counselling, or related disciplines;
  • have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in student affairs, residential life, programme administration, or service coordination;
  • have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • possess strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; and
  • be able to work independently and collaboratively with internal units and external stakeholders.

Appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours. Prior experience in supporting non-local students will be an advantage.
