Research Assistant – Department of Accountancy

Responsibilities
  • conduct literature review, data collection and analysis;
  • assist in collecting, gathering, analysing and presenting data from work undertaken;
  • provide support in maintaining databases of surveys with multi-factorial output data;
  • support the field surveys/interviews;
  • be responsible for the planning, organisation and project management of the related events of the project such as workshops and talks;
  • contribute to wider research project development and implementation; and
  • monitor the progress of the project and prepare regular reports to the Research Project Team and/or funding body in a timely manner.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification;
  • have a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • be proficient in qualitative and quantitative data analysis software;
  • have good analytical skills, strong communication with interpersonal skills;
  • be proficient in MS Office tools;
  • be able to ability to work independently and complete various tasks in tight timelines, and
  • be self-motivated with positive work attitude and a sense of responsibility

Knowledge or skills of artificial intelligence will be an advantage.
