Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Executive Officer
(Ref: EO (CIE) 2026-08-07)

Responsibilities
  • provide logistics and administration support for Centre activities, including planning, coordinating and delivering a wide range of entrepreneurship and innovation programmes, competitions and events for students, alumni and the public;
  • liaise with internal departments, students/student associations and external stakeholders/partners (e.g. incubators, start-ups, corporates, NGOs and alumni), for the effective execution of activities;
  • serve as secretary to committees and work groups of the Centre, including preparation of agenda/papers, minutes, follow-up actions and documentation;
  • support programme promotion and outreach, including maintaining programme webpages/social media, preparing notices/eDMs, and assisting in the production of promotional materials; and
  • supervise and coach junior administrative staff/student helpers.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions, entrepreneurship/start-up support organisations, innovation hubs or project/event management;
  • have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong writing and editing skills for reports, minutes and promotional copy;
  • be proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (experience with online application systems, event registration tools, Canva/Adobe or CMS is an advantage);
  • have strong administrative, organisational and problem-solving abilities with good attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines;
  • be a mature, proactive, service-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; and
  • be able to work independently and take up ad hoc duties.

The appointee may be required to work evenings or weekends occasionally.
