Department of Art and Design - Part-time Lecturer(s)

Responsibilities

The appointee(s) will be responsible for teaching AB6101 Valuation of Art and/or AB6004 Sale and Marketing of Art for the Master of Arts in Art Business (MA-AB) programme in the academic year of 2026/27.

  • prepare teaching materials and deliver lectures;
  • mark assignments and provide feedback to students;
  • organise field trips and other learning activities relevant to the module(s), as appropriate; and
  • work closely with programme director to ensure effective module delivery.

 

Applicants Should
  • possess a doctoral degree in art business, arts management, cultural and creative industries, humanities, social sciences, or any other disciplines related to arts;
  • have a high level of subject knowledge and practical expertise in the relevant academic or professional discipline;
  • have a successful track record of academic or professional experience in tertiary teaching or professional services or relevant industry experience; and
  • have a good command of English and Chinese, with the ability to teach effectively in Putonghua.

Applicants without a doctoral degree will be considered if they hold a master’s degree and have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a senior role or as a specialist in the relevant fields.
